Tignum Design and Engineering
Tignum is a civil engineering company that provides engineering, design and inspection services for clients in the industrial, commercial and custom residential sectors. Specialties of the company include structural and engineering design, building science, mechanical engineering and architectural design.
The goal was to design a logo for the company that would stand out in a highly competitive marketplace based in the Greater Toronto Area. The strategy was to design a bold and eye-catching business card to stand out in the pie of business cards collected during networking an social events. To achieve such a vibrant colour, the business cards were custom silk-screened with a velvet matte finish.
