54th SUSK Congress Annual Report
The Ukrainian Canadian Students’ Union (SUSK), or Union des Étudiants Ukrainiens Canadiens is a national student organization comprised of Ukrainian Students’ Organizations (USOs) at post-secondary institutions across Canada. It was formed in 1953 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Though it fell inactive in 2001, SUSK was revived at the XXII Congress of Ukrainian Canadians held in Winnipeg, in October 2007. With the revival of SUSK, the organization required an annual report to be put together to be shared amongst all participating Ukrainian Students' Organizations attending the congress.

The challenge was to create a bold and strong annual report to reflect the increased momentum and interest from across all participating organizations across Canada. As the President of SUSK was from McMaster University, Hamilton's steel industry was used as the inspiration for the cover of the annual report. Through a combination of an old Soviet illustrations, the strong "work-hard" attitude of Eastern Europeans combined with the phrase 'SUSK is the new steel', lead to a finished product that represented the trending momentum of the work done reviving the organizational movement.
